At 17 Months Old

Lauren, these are the things you're up to at 17 months old:
You take things to the wastebasket to throw them away.
You hand us the remote when you want your show turned on.
You make us wonder who's is taking care of who!
You help wash your own hair.
You've got a whole mouth full of teeth.
You're so good about letting your Daddy brush them.
You "sing" along with your music.
You still love swimming, but prefer it in the shade or on a cloudy day.
You won't keep a hat on your head for anything!
You still like to wear any variety of things as a scarf.
You pull your clothes out of your dresser drawer and try to put them on.
You're getting better and better at walking, you hardly fall at all now.
You prefer walking to riding in your stroller or a shopping cart.
You can sure climb some stairs!
You've figured out how to slide down off furniture.
You eat so many things now.
You like fruits, veggies, cheese, meat, and especially snacks.
You share in our family favorite...pizza!
You love pancakes just like your Daddy.
You're such a good napper and night-time sleeper.
You're the biggest joy that our family could ever ask for.
