Parading Around

Nana, Mommy, and Lauren headed downtown for Kalamazoo's 50th Annual Holiday Parade.
Lauren danced to the beat of the marching bands.
Her first food drive donation.
The balloons and floats were fun, the candy was yummy, and it was exciting to see what was coming next!
Lauren met a beautiful princess and a handsome prince on her parade adventure.  The princess gave Lauren a special ring to remember her by.
Lauren and Nana ran around the yard of Saint Luke's Church, a.k.a. the castle.
We waved good-bye to Santa and Mrs. Claus, and that was the end of the parade.

Lauren's Park

Lauren's Park underwent renovation early this past summer.  Daddy replaced the worn boards, then we all went out and picked out new swings, a new slide, handles for the ladder, and the accessory that every swing set needs...a steering wheel!  I knew we needed one when I took Lauren to a playground and she asked "where's the steering wheel?"
Our efforts paid off...Lauren has been enjoying her time at Lauren's Park ever since!
