A Second, Second Birthday Party

Lauren was excited to have her Grandparents over on her actual birthday, and to open more presents!

Princess Lauren invited her Auntie to the castle for a visit.

Hello Princess, Happy Birthday

We celebrated Lauren's second birthday with the help of a princess or two. Grandma Sandy had her house decked out with Disney Princess decorations and Nana Sue gave Lauren a princess dress to wear. Our little baby is turning into a little girl...who loves princesses! What happened to Elmo you ask? Auntie Robin introduced Lauren to Sleeping Beauty around Christmas time and Elmo was history! And it happened over night, there was no gradual transition from one to the other. We had a laugh when Grandma Sandy pointed out how Lauren and Elmo were inseperable at the time of Lauren's ankle surgery in November, then just over 2 months later we made the trip back to Baltimore for Lauren's fixator removal surgery and princess dolls were in Elmo's place. Needless to say, Lauren loved her princess birthday party. She danced and danced in her new dress, served tea with her new tea set, loved opening all her gifts, and really enjoyed her cake. Happy Birthday Lauren!
