New Year's Rockin' Eve!

 Lauren and I partied with Daddy and the Smiths for a bit...

 then headed home and had a popcorn party with Nana.  Woody was happy about that since he loves popcorn!

Nana, Lauren, and I even surprised ourselves by staying up until midnight!  We danced to the Dick Clark New Year's Rockin' Eve show, read books, sipped water from wine glasses, and watched the countdown to 2012.

Christmas Day 2011

Lauren received a beautiful new stocking this year.  An inside joke in our family is that you have to earn your keep in this family before you get a stocking with your name on it.  Just ask Daddy how long it took him!

Lauren has had much anticipation and understanding about Christmas this year.  Seeing the look on her face Christmas morning was precious.

We had a wonderful family dinner and gift exchange at MawMaw's house.

That evening, we strolled Bronson Park and cruised Christmas Card Lane.  Lauren has been fascinated by the different Nativity scenes we've come across this season.  She always runs up to them to "see Baby Jesus".        (Thank you Daddy, for thinking to set up Lauren's own Little People Nativity Set in her room for her.)
