At 14 Months Old

Lauren, these are things you're up to at 14 months old:
You got your first pair of real shoes!
Your Daddy says they're the cutest little Nikes he's ever seen.
You wave and say "hi" and "bye".
You say "oh wow" about a lot of things.
You "talk" a lot, and you sure do have some stories.
You give us kisses and you're learning to blow kisses.
You're so good about going to bed and you even love your naps.
You always wake up so happy too!
You've started standing on your own for brief moments.
You're good at walking behind things.
You'll even push a laundry basket around if that's whats handy.
You're a little hesitant about walking while holding our hands.
You're so good at figuring things out.
You "answer" your phone and can turn Grandma Sue's TV on.
You like to put scarves (or just about anything) around your neck.
You love to take your socks off and try to put them back on.
You get your clothes out and try to put them over your head.
You say "mmmm" when you have something good to eat.
You have some new favorites--guacamole and yogurt.
You tried ice cream and I'd say you were pretty impressed.
You're absolutely the sweetest girl in the world.
