Daddy's Little Helper

Helping Daddy clean up the endless amounts of leaves.
Nobody said she couldn't have a little fun while she was at it...
Or a lot of fun!

It's a Jeep Thing

Lauren would play in the Jeep all day long if we let her! A love for Jeeps kind of runs in the family.

Auntie Robin, Esq.

Law school...check.  Pass the bar...check.  Get sworn in...check.
Auntie Robin did it all!  To make it even sweeter, she got sworn in on her 30th birthday.  We're so proud of her!

We ♥ this Weather

Milham Park.
Celery Flats.
Michigan is known for it's crazy weather and we've been given some unseasonably warm days this fall.  What better way to spend these beautiful days than playing at the park!

Halloween-Part IV: Trick or Treat

Lauren really enjoyed helping Nana hand out candy on Halloween night.  We only managed to pull her away briefly so Auntie and Travis could take her trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.  When kids came toward the house, Lauren's greeting to them would go something like this:
"Hello!
Hi!
You want to come to Nana's house?
You want some candy?
Oh, what are you?"

She and Nana would give the kids their goodies while chatting them up about their costumes.  Even if there were no trick-or-treaters in sight, Lauren was at the door on the look-out with her canine assistants.  At one point, she started to walk away from the door but heard some kids in the distance so she whipped back around and said:
"Uh-oh!
 Are they tricking me?"

I guess you can't be too careful on trick-or-treat night, someone might be up to no good!

Halloween-Part III: Pumpkin Party

Mommy and MawMaw joined Lauren for her Pumpkin Party at preschool.   There was bouncing around and game playing, then it was back to the classroom where Lauren and her friends decorated and ate pumpkin shaped sugar cookies.  Lauren's decorating secret was to add a couple more chocolate chips after each bite.

Halloween-Part II: The Great Zoo Boo

Nana, Mommy, Auntie, and Lady Bug Lauren made a visit to Binder Park Zoo for The Great Zoo Boo.
Lauren had several peacock encounters while we were there.
We got lots of goodies on the trick-or-treat trail, we won spider rings for each finger playing the carnival games, and saw lots of animals along the way.
The train ride was all fun and games until...we came upon the spooky tunnel!
Before leaving, Lauren made sure to give the prince a high-five and the princess a hug.
