Ten Years Later...

Lauren made a visit to Stetson Chapel, where Mommy and Daddy were married on July 22, 2000.

Our Rockhold Retreat

While on our trip to see Dr. Standard, we stayed a few extra days at a wonderful house on Rockhold Creek near Chesapeake Bay. We were close enough to Baltimore and Washington, DC yet far enough away for it to be a peaceful get-away. Grandma Sue found us the Rockhold Retreat on the internet and was supposed to go with us but unfortunately had to be hospitalized a week before the trip with an intestinal obstruction and wasn't feeling up to going. Her doctors felt that it was a complication from her abdominal surgery last October. She's now feeling better, but still working her way back to eating normal foods. We hope to go on a "make-up" vacation some time with Grandma Sue when she's feeling up to it.

The 1 1/2 foot deep water was up to Lauren's chest. It was perfect for her to walk around in, no hands of course! We bought a water proof camera to take the water shots and Lauren carried it around in the water, acting like she was taking pictures of people. I think she must have had the camera backwards at some point because we've got a great close-up of her eye!
