A Little Lunch Date

Lauren and I have enjoyed occasional visits to the local Root Beer Stands and West Lake Drive-In this past summer. Lauren scrambles up front with me and we enjoy our hot dogs and root beer together. These pictures were taken on a recent Indian summer day in which we went for lunch after Lauren got out of preschool. The fall colors around the lake were beautiful!

More than Sprinkled with Gifts!

Mommy's good friends from work, Nikki and Stacey, threw a sprinkle for the twins.

 Lauren and the other little girls were back and forth between the party and their own activity table all night.

 Lauren was getting some big sister practice in with Leilani, the baby of our dear friend, Sondra.

Auntie earned a prize for solving the word scramble in no time flat!

 First in line for some delicious cake!

Many friends came...we were definitely more than sprinkled with gifts!

I just had to include this picture of some very special guests...the diaper babies MawMaw, Lauren, and I made for centerpieces.
