We got Lauren's hip harness today. Truthfully, I think we're having a more difficult time with it than she is. She actually doesn't seem to mind it too much. She's allowed a half hour each day of harness-free time. Some parts of the harness were already starting to irritate her skin, especially where they had to trim the velcro straps to fit behind her knees. Grandma Sue and I went and picked out some really soft, fuzzy fabric with which Grandma sewed sleeves to cover the rough straps. They're such an improvement. We've knick-named them "softies" and are considering marketing them on e-bay for other babies who have to wear a harness.
