Lauren's Ultrasound

Lauren had her hips rechecked by ultrasound yesterday. We told Dr. Gadwood, who has done both hip ultrasounds, what we learned from Dr. Paley, that there is sometimes a hip deformity associated with fibular hemimelia. Dr. Gadwood said Lauren's left hip looked normal now and her right hip looks like what she would consider slight hip dysplasia. We picked up a copy of the ultrasound and report to take to Mary Free Bed on Monday. The report says that her right hip has definitely improved since her last ultrasound. We'll find out more when we talk to Dr. Maples on Monday. Until then...
