We took Lauren for her 2 month check-up today. Steve guessed that she would weigh in at 14 lbs 6 ounces and he was exactly right. She's also 24 inches long now. The shots didn't go over well. As Steve put it, he's never seen her turn that shade of purple!
We talked to Dr. Somers about amputation and lengthening, our appointment at Mary Free Bed, and going to see the doctors in Baltimore. She's expressed to us before that she thinks amputation is drastic, but she also said today that it's important to find out which would be best for Lauren's particular situation. Either way, she said she would support us.
