Abdominal & Hip Ultrasound

Today was Lauren's ultrasound. She had an abdominal ultrasound which was completely normal but her hip ultrasound did show that she has hip dysplasia. We got the impression that it's a mild case and that there is more of an issue with the right side than the left. Dr. Gadwood, who read the ultrasound, said she thought Lauren needed to be treated with a harness and that her results from the treatment should be that of any other baby. The harness may have to be on as long as three months. We are concerned about her hips but also thankful that the abdominal portion of the ultrasound was normal.
